upgrade from Basic to Gold

I took the step and bought Gold.

Need to upgrade existing menu from www.croxsons.com/beta to Gold so that I can have relational positioning.

What is the easiest way to do it as I have yet to find out!

edit: the existing coding is well laid out, but is it just a case of adding a line or two or complete re-coding the whole lot?

If you created the menu with the builder then the migration is just the matter of going back to the builder (use the copy from tigra menu gold package), changing the mode to Tigra Menu GOLD and re-exporting the files. If you configured the menu manually then you'll need to make several adjustments in the template and possibly CSS file. Submit a support ticket if you need help with that.
