A little help with events

Hello all,

I have a little question for ya. i have included a picture of a website I'm making for my girlfriend for her Mary Kay business. I would like to use this cool PHP event calendar for her party dates but I have a question. Instead of having a different web page come up with the new event, i would like it on the same webpage. As you can see I'd replace the Testimonials section for the calendar and have the bigger section for the events. I'm pretty good with HTML but not PHP. I'm sure there is a way to do it but I'm not really sure.

I tryed donig the Event List Header Template but the php commands never populate.

I'd have it in the left section its just that it really screws up my page at the moment.
